Array the night with wisp and whim
The stars are bright and colors dim
And, in the east, a hint of light
Pennants fly from wan to bright
The wind picks up to tell the tale
Of joy untold, of light unveiled
The sidhe fly their banner raised
All pomp and circumstance unfazed
The lawn that sprawls across the vale
The brawny summits gird and scale
At last, the welcome horn is sung
Withal, the churches bells are rung
The revels, far and wide, unpin
Excitements of the day begin
The place transformed from staid to wild
All, by brightness, now beguiled
All hearts are warm, as are the smiles
All confidence to brave the wiles
